INTEGRATION
The core of our system has been revamped, rewritten, tweaked, hammered and abused for over 5 years. Every piece is custom-written for integration into the rest of the site. We don't slop together public components and call it a day, we take the time to think about how portions of the site work, and how they can work together with other portions. The result is an integrated solution that ties your guild information together in one neat little box.
MULTI-GAME SUPPORT
There are a ton of MMORPGs on the market and more are coming. Gone are the days where a guild only played EverQuest. As your guild establishes itself in new games, you need to have the ability to keep your people communicating on the same website rather than across five different sites.
CUSTOMIZATION
The Site Administrator (SA) has control over the "look" of the site, which is very customizable in and of itself. They define the default look of the site, but that's not to mean that the site's users are stuck with the SA's decisions. Every user of the site can customize the appearance to their liking. Colors, fonts, font sizes - all putty in your hands. Go ahead and change things - nobody but you will know (and we won't tell the SA).
The site also adjusts all times displayed to your local time zone (controlled through your account settings). If a raid is scheduled for 7pm GMT but you live in Florida, provided you have your time zone set properly, you will see the event listed as 2pm local time (or 3pm if you are observing Daylight Savings Time).
CUSTOM CUSTOMIZATION
Got an idea for something that we do not offer? Sites that choose to pay for our services may request new functionality or assist in the furtherance of existing functionality through beta testing and direct feedback. As we are always wanting to improve our offerings, we will strive to honor any such requests that we deem plausible. Active participants in the development/beta/feedback cycle of a new feature may, at Haven's discretion, receive a discount on future services up to and including complete waiving of fees!

Forums
Our own custom forums, containing many of the features you are used to in other community systems. Sticky topics, locked topics, different forum categories, forum-level access control, time-zone compensation, etc. Users can hide some or all forums that they don't want to see.
Our forums have some extras that we have never seen before in any other system, however, like our One-Way Forums and Adult-Only Forums. The One-Way Forums are specialized forums that any user can post to - but only those with appropriate access can read. This allows for private or semi-private topics between users and, for example, the guild's officers. The Adult Forums are earmarked so that they have to be deliberately enabled by the user.
Calendar
Our own custom calendar, allowing quick-glance guild event viewing. All events are also access controlled so that everyone (or no one) can see them on their calendar. Events on the Calendar are time-zone compensated as described under the Customization section above. Your users can 'sign up' for events so you know ahead of time who is planning to be there.
Gallery
A picture gallery to store screenshots, photos, whatever. Each guild has a "real life" gallery as well as a gallery for each game associated with the guild.
Surveys
Simple question & answer surveys. The current "active" survey will appear on the front page of the site if enabled by the SA. Each survey can be reviewed and commented on by site users.
Site Mail
This has been a trademark of our sites dating back to the beginning. Not everyone wants to share their email address with their guildmates - with Site Mail they don't have to. Site Mail stays on our servers and can be accessed via any Haven site.
Chat
We have a few different options for chatting live with other users while you are on the site. PrachChat was developed several years ago as a means to chat regardless of what firewall you may be sitting behind. It is due for an overhaul but it's still fully functional. We also recently added a Gabbly module for those that prefer its interface.
Lastly, we have voice chat available. You can list your existing chat server information (TeamSpeak or Ventrilo) or you can obtain TeamSpeak services directly from us.
Charter / Library
A document repository for you to store policies, guides, or any other information that you want to share with your guildmates.
Recruiting
Open and close recruiting of different classes, detail what you are looking for with those classes, and accept applications. The application questions are completely up to the SA.
Custom Links
List out any links that you want and they'll display along the menu bar.
Site Customization
Don't like the colors or the fonts that the Site Administrator picked out? Change them. You're the one who has to look at it, you might as well not go blind doing so.
Guild Aliasing
If you have an obscure Haven account name, you will be able to post to the Forums (and other areas) as one of your character names instead. We call this Guild Aliasing, most guilds would call it a very handy feature. Roleplaying guilds will find it invaluable to maintain their immersion.
Sig / Masthead Creator
Our custom Signature and Masthead creator - we developed a simple drag & drop interface allowing for quick and easy creation and editing of signature files that you can use on any HavenGuild hosted forum. You can upload your own artwork for use in your signature as well. Site Administrators will use the same interface to create the masthead (the graphic strip that appears along the top of each page).
Item Vault / Guild Bank
You can list guild assets up for grabs by your guild members. Guild members can also request reimbursements from the guild for expenses incurred on the guild's behalf.
AP/DKP System (coming)
There's probably as many AP/DKP systems and theories out there as there are guilds that raid on such a system. During our beta process we will be soliciting our SAs on what features they would want in an AP/DKP system and then write a custom Haven version that covers as many bases as possible and be as flexible as everything else we create.
Alliances (coming)
We will be adding the ability to tie guilds together into an Alliance. Users of Allianced guilds will have the ability to see Calendar events and Forums for all guilds in the Alliance rather than having to visit each guild site seperately.
COST
Haven users can establish one free guild site per Haven account. Free sites will have restricted feature lists and any sort of advertisement that we deem fit to add. That said, we aren't going to innundate the free sites with ads to the point of becoming tacky - we do afterall want our users to enjoy visiting and using their site, free or not.
Site Administrators choosing to pay for the service will gain access to the full feature list, greater capacities as well as the ultimate added benefits - no ads and a warm fuzzy feeling that you're helping Haven develop more stuff.
If the SA chooses to pay, during our Beta period it is going to cost $45 for a full year. After Beta we will re-evaluate our costs and the post-Beta feature list and revise the price as necessary. If we do raise the rates after Beta, existing Beta paid sites will get a discount on renewal as a "thank you" for helping us during Beta.
We will be setting up an Affiliate program as well, should you feel the desire to help spread the word about our services and make a few bucks in the process!
Domain Name
Free sites will be listed as http://www.havenguilds.com/guildname. If "guildname" is taken at the time of registration, we will work with you to come up with an acceptible alternative.
Paid sites will have the option of keeping the http://www.havenguilds.com/guildname or having us set up a subdomain (http://guildname.havenguilds.com) at no extra charge.
Alternately, paid sites can choose to use their own domain name (http://www.guildname.com). If you have an existing domain name that you would prefer to use, we can add it to our DNS at no extra charge. It would then be up to the registered owner of the domain name to contact the domain registrar to make the necessary changes to the domain DNS record. If you do not have an existing guild name, we can register a domain name on your behalf at the rate of $12 per year.
